18 (Really 18) Days Out

10/29/13: 123 pounds..do we see a trend here?

I don’t know what to make of this.  This is my non-professional take.  I now have a horse, instead of a dog.  Dogs want to please you (the owner/trainer/caretaker).  So the owner must communicate his or her desire to the dog.  As long as the dog understands the command, they will follow because it is in their nature to please.  A horse, on the other hand, doesn’t have that same desire and it is up to the trainer to essentially impose his or her will on the the horse.  How does this correlate?  Several years ago, I was over-weight and feeding my body unhealthy, processed, crap.  Once I switched to feeding it real food, it responded immediately.  Today, I am at a healthy weight and generally feed my body good, healthy, real food.  I am now asking it to go beyond that point.  Thus it is acting like a horse and I must impose my will.  I am not sure who is going to win this battle, however.  I have some concern regarding my will-power and how far I have to go to impose my will.  So far I still remain determined.

What I ate today:

What I did right?
Eliminated some of those extra hidden fats, etc.
Continued to journal and consumed 120 grams lean protein

What could be improved?
Found myself at work at 6:45 with limited choices and selected what I thought was the least of the evils (protein shake with water)

Didn’t get to the gym because I worked late.  Instead of the gym at 8 pm, I opted to get home in time to get to sleep, hopefully well before 10 pm.

Lastly, what is a fitness journal without a good ol’ post-gym selfie for progress?
